Q: When you step out of your USUAL genre what do you like to read? Best books in that genre?

When I step out of my usual genre, which is YA, I usually delve into adult urban fantasy. Some books I enjoyed in this genre are Rachel Vincent's SHIFTERS and BLOOD BOUND series (serieses?), and, my all-time favorite series, Karen Marie Moning's FEVER series. Which, if you haven't read this series already, go out and buy all five of them. Right. Now.

Which books did you like in unfamiliar genres? Let me know in the comments! Link me! FOLLOW ME! Be awesome!

I stay with young adult books too. I know of Rachel Vincent's adult series and hear good things about them but haven't read any.
