COVER ALERT: The Ruby Circle

COVERALERT

So, let's face it: I'm a bit late for this cover reveal. I just found out about it today, and the official cover reveal was on the fourth of the month. Whoops.

But anyway, I thought I'd start a new segment where we discuss new covers! Sounds like fun. It's called COVERALERT, and it'll happen whenever I feel like it.

Today's featured cover is for The Ruby Circle (Bloodlines, #6) by Richelle Mead, the first five of which I have read and reviewed here, here, here, here, and here. The past covers have all been pretty terrible, and this one hasn't changed it up by any means. Below, you'll find the cover in all its (pink! ew!) glory:

This one wins for me in regard to the fact that they aren't pale beyond living. But other than that, I'm pretty disappointed. It is the cheesiest shade of pink and tells me nothing about the book (aside from the golden lily tattoo, but, I mean, c'mon, that's been a thing the whole time).

Aside from the sad cover, I am very much looking forward to this book? What about you? What are your thoughts on the cover? Are you excited for the book? Let me know in the comments!
